It depends on the size of the pile. I am currently working on a portable (as in, easily disassembled for transport by pickup), in-field unit that is 1.5 m x 1.5 m x 1.5 m. It can be assembled around a pile provided that the pile is not so dense that the chimney cannot be inserted. Top light. Will be testing newest prototype in about 2 weeks (have national holiday to deal with). Photos and plans then if you like. Michael Shafer
