Title: Wood Innovation Grants Program- An Overview and Q&A Session

What will you learn?
Learn more about the U.S. Forest Service's Wood Innovations Grants program from the Region 8 Coordinator Kevin Naranjo. The request for proposals (RFP) for the wood innovations grant program is now open and proposals are due January 15, 2020. The goal of this program is to expand and accelerate wood energy and wood products markets throughout the United States to support forest management needs on National Forest System and other forest lands. There are multiple priorities that this RFP is geared towards that range from improving forest health and reducing forest management costs to promoting economic and environmental health of communities. Join this 1 hour webinar where Wood Innovations Coordinator Kevin Naranjo will describe the priority areas for the grants and provide descriptions of the types of projects that might be funded. In addition, Kevin will share some suggestions for creating a successful proposal including examples and critical components. After a brief presentation, there will be a question and answer session for all attendees. learn more here...
