Stranded pyrolysis plants in India #pyrolysis #tires

Could these be converted to plants to pyrolyze biomass? All the better if it reduces smog from burning crop stubble. Another article increases the number of potentially stranded plants to 270.

Interesting idea but unfortunately most of the pyrolysis units would not be suitable for biomass. Handling the tires in pyrolysis equipment is very different than biomass. I suspect that many of the plants would not be good carbonizers. They could have similar pollution issues to the tire plants. India has lots of entrepreneurs and good engineers if they wanted to take on the task
